Celebs take part in ‘red dot challenge’ on Menstrual Hygiene Day

“Red Dot Challenge” is an initiative by United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to talk about periods and menstrual hygiene on International Menstrual Hygiene Day, being celebrated today, March 28, 2020. Many celebrities including Dia Mirza, Neha Dhupia, Diana Penty and Aditi Rao Hydari have posted pictures on social media posing with a “red dot” on their hand. 

“The red dot challenge aims at busting myths and promoting facts on menstrual hygiene, collectively inspiring all–men, boys, women and girls to openly talk about menstruation, ” as stated by Michael Juma, chief of state, UNICEF.
